Psychologists, educators, and others need to score tests composed of Yes/No or True/False questions. The Yes/No scorer provides a quick, error-reducing method for entering and scoring any Yes/No, True/False, or 0/1 data.
With the Yes/No Scorer you can: a) create one or more answer keys with which to score data, b) enter and save data files containing the answers of any number of subjects (each subject may have no more than 80 Yes/No entries), c) reproduce an already entered record to make corrections on it, and d) score the data. Please be sure not to violate any copyrights in entering scoring keys into the Yes/No Scorer.
IMPORTANT: The Yes/No Scorer is a SHAREWARE product. This means that you can freely copy the scorer. It does NOT mean that the product is free. I spent several weeks making this software (it's a lot more complicated than it looks!). I'm also a graduate student who is struggling to make ends meet. If you use this product even once, you're benefiting from my labor. I am therefore asking users to please send me $10 or what the software is worth to them. Comparable software from a psychological testing service runs $35 and up.

If I find that people need and like this software, I will devote time to improving it. I will let you know how to get the update, provided I have your name and address. Improvements could include: a) a much faster scoring mechanism (a C routine called from Hypercard), b) improved error checking, and c) a table-defining mechanism in which you can define what scores correspond to what standardized sample stanine, t-score, and so forth. Table values would be automatically included in scores output.
